Building a company that can’t sell you out
Our business model is simple: you pay us, so you’re the customer — not the product. A note on how that shapes every decision we make.

Why we will never run ads
Ad-funded software has a conflict baked in: the more it knows about you, the more it earns. We took ads off the table so our incentives line up with yours.
A boring, honest model
You pay a subscription. We keep the lights on and build better apps. That is the whole story — no data to harvest, no profile to sell, no third party in the room.
What that means in practice
- No trackers, ever
- No selling or sharing your data
- No “free” tier paid for with your attention
When you are not the product, the software can finally be on your side.
We would rather grow slowly on subscriptions than quickly on surveillance. If you want the longer argument, read our manifesto.
It is a simpler business. It is also the only one we are willing to run.
