Even privacy companies often leak data through analytics and ad pixels. We removed all of it. Here is what we use instead.
It is easy to claim privacy and then load five analytics scripts that phone home on every page. We took the harder path and removed them.
What we removed, what we kept
- Removed: third-party analytics, ad pixels, social embeds
- Kept: privacy-respecting, aggregate-only usage counts we host ourselves
If we would not want it pointed at our own data, we will not point it at yours.
